LEAP 2025

Bio-convergence, the next technological trend of the 21st century, is a transdisciplinary field that merges engineering and life sciences, set to revolutionize the health-tech industry. Bio-convergence fuses life sciences with different technologies from various fields such as mathematics, engineering, and physical and computational sciences, creating a sum far greater than the total of all its parts and opening the door to unique innovations.

LEAP Vision and Mission:

LEAP empowers entrepreneurs and physicians to explore and create revolutionary solutions to unmet needs in the healthcare ecosystem. Our mission is clear:

Create top-tier, multidisciplinary teams of entrepreneurs, clinicians and technologists from various areas to ideate breakthrough solutions

Use the program’s partners to identify industry challenges and opportunities, enabling the participants to focus on relevant unmet needs

Validate solutions with leading US experts, investors and entrepreneurs to accelerate commercialization, bringing theory to practice quickly

Support the program participants in Venture Creation (KPI of End of Program, and 6 months after)

Funded by the Israeli Innovation Authority, Leap’s 2nd cohort will focus on revolutionizing BioConvergence in Israel through a premier ideation program:

Duration: 16 weeks program focused on challenges in Bio tech and drug development

Target Audience: Multidisciplinary teams

Before you Apply

LEAP is looking for entrepreneurs, technology experts, clinicians and experts in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering and more who are interested and excited to explore and create revolutionary solutions to unmet needs in the healthcare ecosystem with Bioconvergence.

Full attendance and participation is required for the Leap

Admission decisions will comply with equality, diversity, transparency and conflict of interest criteria.

A participation fee of 750 NIS will be incurred.

Application deadline is January 17, 2025

Interviews will be held up until Jan 2-21, 2025

Admission offers will be made by January 23, 2025

Where will the program take place? What commitment level is required?

The program has a session once a week in person, for 3 hours each time. Sessions will be held in Ramat Gan, Beilinson Hospital and other locations in the center of Israel. We ask the participants to be committed to contribute to their venture and work in a multidisciplinary team.
What is the focus of the program?

Leap is an ideation program, focused on building solutions and starting ventures in Health, answering unmet clinical needs received from departments in Beilinson hospital.
Is the program an accelerator?

The program is not an accelerator program for existing startups or to launch an advanced venture.
Do I need an idea to apply?

No, the ideation process is a part of the program and is done with the multidisciplinary cohort and teams, with the guide of our experts.
