8200Impact goes Global
This past month we were invited to present our work on 3 important global occasions:
Last week the program's Managing Director, Chen Shmilo, met with H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and Small and Medium Enterprises at the Ministry Of Economy, UAE, along with leading investors and key players in the Israeli Tech-Ecosystem. Chen presented the 8200 Alumni Association and the 8200 Impact accelerator, and discussed a potential collaboration between UAE and Israel in the field of Impact Technology.
In addition, the 8200 Impact was presented at the EIT Hub Israel's and the Startup Nation Central's Ecosystem Summit, an annual conference which is part of the Connect and Experience program. In a panel titled “The New Era of Acceleration", our Managing Director discussed the challenges and opportunities for accelerator During and Post Covid-19 pandemic, exchanging views with colleagues from Hungary.
Earlier in October, 8200 Impact was invited to the annual conference of the Business and Innovation Network (BIN) at UPTECH, Porto (Portugal), taking an active part in a panel about "Building Startup Communities in the Times of Changes and Disruptions". The program's Managing Director talked about the Israeli ecosystem and the role of the 8200 Alumni Association in general, and the 8200 Impact in particular, in the efforts to keep Israeli ecosystem flourishing.
