Quality Engineer

DRS RADA Technologies is looking for a Quality Engineer for products in development phase.

Main Responsibilities:

Developing quality plans and strategies to ensure the developed product meets specified quality standards.
Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product quality and reporting on these metrics to stakeholders.
Creating and maintaining documentation, such as test cases, test plans, and quality records.
Continuously identifying areas for process improvement and working with development teams to enhance product quality.
Identifying and assessing potential risks and implementing measures to mitigate them.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers, to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development process.
Root Cause Analysis: Investigating the root causes of defects and working to prevent their recurrence.
Ensuring the product complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
Staying updated on the latest quality assurance tools, techniques, and industry best practices.

Requirements-

Experience

Proven experience of at least 3 years as a quality engineer in product development of complex hardware-based systems regulated under AS9100 standard requirements.
Knowledge of quality control tools and methodologies like Six Sigma, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and SPC (Statistical Process Control)
Proven experience in NPI methodologies
Basic project management skills to plan and execute quality assurance activities within project timelines.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (as a minimum) in Engineering (Electronics / Mechanics / Electronics / Mechanics / Another related field)
CQE – advantage

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with design engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.
Attention to detail, critical thinking, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Strong documentation skills for creating test plans, test reports, and quality records.
